Bite Club SB LLC ("Bite Club", "we") runs biteclubsb.com and a weekly meal delivery service in Santa Barbara, California. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our mailing address is 616 East Haley Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93103. What we collect

When you sign up, our payment processor Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, delivery instructions, how you heard about us, and your payment card details. We see everything except the full card number, which only Stripe holds. When you fill in a form on our site, we receive what you type. When you visit the site, Squarespace (our website host), Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel collect standard usage information such as pages viewed, the device and browser you use, your approximate location from your IP address, and cookie identifiers.

How we use it

To cook, pack and deliver your meals, to charge your weekly subscription, to send your menu and delivery updates, to answer your questions, to understand which of our marketing is working, and to show ads for Bite Club to people who have visited our site or who are similar to our members. If you give us your mobile number, we text you about your deliveries and your service, such as delivery updates and menu reminders. Offers and promotions go by email, not text. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run the business: Stripe (payments), Squarespace (website and forms), Google (analytics and business listing), Meta (advertising measurement), and the people who deliver your bag. Each receives only what it needs for its job. We share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights or our customers' safety.

Cookies and advertising measurement

Our site uses cookies and similar tools from Squarespace, Google Analytics and Meta. When you subscribe, we report that a purchase happened, with your email and phone number in hashed form, to Meta so we can measure our ads. You can limit this: use your browser's cookie settings, visit Meta's Ad Preferences, use Google's Ads Settings, or email us and ask us to stop reporting your purchase for ad measurement.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a member and for seven years afterward for tax and accounting records, or until you ask us to delete it where the law allows.

Your choices and rights

You can see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, ask what we have shared and with whom, and opt out of marketing emails or texts at any time by emailing biteclubsb@gmail.com. California residents may make these requests under California privacy law, and we will not treat you differently for making them. We respond within 45 days.

Children

Our service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We will post any changes here with a new date. If a change matters to how we use your information, we will email you.
